I'm gearing up my ice gear to hopefully go hit my favorite little brook trout pond here in lethbridge and I'm wondering if anyone wants to tag along sunday? :) It looks thick.. I'm going to check it tomorrow. unless someone already has?

I walked out on it and didn't go under yesterday. Didn't go to the middle though.. don't need to :)

A buddy of mine checked it out last week, said there was 4-5inches of ice. A little less in one of the bays. Should be good, have fun, report back.

He was famous on twitter for awhile :) .. I seen all sorts of posts of the "nuts on the ice / lake" :)

I was there today, Fished for a while but realized I didn't bring enough gear haha. Its about 4-5 inches where I was. Also saw some guy in the middle throwing a ball for his dog... haha so I would assume its fine as long as you don't have a group of people close together.

I may head out there tomorrow for awhile and turn the shallow bay into swish cheese. Gotta make sure my gear is good to go before heading out for perch and eyes on saturday.

I got out there for a couple hours Monday, and there was ~3 inches just east of the launch, so there'd be more now.
