Was on the west side of the lake, fishing around the island. There was a good 8-10 inches of good solid black ice, with no snow on top. Only problem was that it was pretty darn slippery. It won't be long before cars are driving around on it.

Caught a lot of walleye and a few small pike, and my flasher picked up a bunch of blips that seemed pretty finicky, I'm not sure what those were. It was a nice day out :happy0034:

How did you get out to your spot? Quad or hike? That would be a long walk.

How deep were you fishing?

I walked out, its maybe a 10-15 minutes walk from the West Cove boat launch to the island, it wasn't that bad. The ice made dragging a sled around pretty easy. It was the first time I was out there, so I was running and gunning it for most of the time I was out there. Fished anywhere from 10-20 fow.
