Anyone got any updates for me on Chain Lakes South of Longview ? Wifey wants to go out and looks like Wednesday would be the only day possible for awhile and I kind of want to get her some fish ! Hows the ice down there ? And it is open year round right ? Just want to make sure ! More intreasted in the ice situation !

I heard theres about 8 inches by the shore.. but with the chinook on Sat. Im sure it hasnt melted all that much. Its open everyday to fish.

Haven't heard. Was going to go yesterday but opted for McGregor instead. If anyone did go, I would be curious as to how they made out.
