Wab pike

Well i caught my biggest pike.. and broke in the new gear with a bang! :shark:
40 inches long and ill let you guess the weight

We seen 7 Torpedos well over 20lbs and hooked 2 of em.

it was 40. the length of my auger blade and then a bit...

Nice fish I would say that looks like a 16 pounder. I have never fished Wab so really dont know where to go on that lake. Are the fish edible out of that water????

I'm going to say 15-17lbs. It looks like a male. Pretty skinny compared to those shorter fatter females. Either way its a good fish. It looks like u were fishing by fallis but i could be wrong.

Usually a 40" fish is close to 20 lb's. but that one is a little on the skinny side.

Guaranteed not to be a male. Biggest male pike ever recorded was about 6 pounds. All large pike are females.

I'm pretty sure he is fishing by the town. Great fish by the way. That fish is around 15 pounds if it's 40 inches. Did you happen get the girth?

The largest male pike is indeed larger than 6lbs, however all of the really large pike are female.

With male and female pike of the same age class, male pike tend to be 10-20% smaller on average.

In my experiences the females are shorter and alot fatter.( like a football when there older) Just my experiences. This fish is long and skinny which makes me think it's a male. Either way, nice fish.
