good day on ice!!!!!!!!

seeing weather was nice i went out with son and dad to fish for some trout at s###### haha!!!! could of had our limit in 15 min. but we held out for a hour keeping only the bigger ones came home with 10 going to be good on the smoker!!! ice was 9" thick !!!!! next is to go for some perch/pike

Don't need to know where exactly, but what area were you in to have 9 inches of ice already?

Was out today and yesterday... 4 inch ice and rotting fast (Southern AB), by the end today there was water puddles on top of the ice. Didn't see a single soul out for the last 2 days.. Not many are willing to risk it! I went through up to my knee yesterday haha.

Most of the lakes around Athabasca is around 10 to 13 inches of solid ice.

I could not make it throught the ice with the 20" bar on my chainsaw earlier this week. Northern BC.

yeah around st. paul are has close to twelve inches, bellis and jackfish have 13, heard moose has the same in some places

was fishing shuster, when bite is on brookies are crazy!!!!!!!!! was fishing 8' water jig and piece of smelt!! only had 2 other people on lake !! son and i cooked 3 over open fire in tinfoil !!!!!!! dame!!!!!!!! tasted great!!
