December 20th Goose Hunt

Had a good hunt this morning. We ran 33 Fullbodies, 36 shells and a bunch of sihlouettes. Very windy, yet it didn't matter. A lot of geese in the area still. We were hunting a wheat field that is inbetween two roosts. We were setup and hunting around 8 am. Right off the bat we dropped a pair. The action was pretty good all morning. We finished with 23 Canada Geese. If we stayed a bit longer I am sure we could have gotten into the 30's as many flocks continued to come in as we packed up and left the field. We ran a J shape spread which works perfect in a windy day.
