robin killed her buck on september 6.

i shudder when i hear people waiting 18 months, 2 years and even more for their taxi work back. its been said that quality work takes time, but i have never waited more than 5 months for anything. i think my taxidermist brought this buck right back true to life.....and in mere months. it made christmas shopping easy this year .....

i never did put a tape to him before he went to the taxi shop. robin doesnt really want me to. we think he could make P&Y, but she has no interest.

That's a really nice mount!! Congrats to your wife and Merry Christmas. Whitey

Was the stand underneath it part of the mount or is it just the decorative base (read foliage)?

the base is called habitat. it is styrofoam sprayed with something that looks like real dirt. its very realistic! the weeds are plastic, and the taxi did his best to simulate the look of the field photo. you have to see it up close to appreciate how real that dirt looks.

I like the looks of early season deer with shorter hair. That is a great looking whitey and Robin should be very proud.

Very nice mount and field photos, I am happy to get my animal back with in 1 year l have waited up to 3 years for a mount b-4 and in most cases a year 1 1/2 years. I just had my last whitetail done by marco and i believe i got it back with in 10 months which was great i thought. Looks great!!
