Where to hunt?

hey, im new to lethbridge and my dad wants to come visit next hunting season and i dont know where we should go hunting. I know people dont like to give up where the good spots are but if anyone could give me an idea where i could hunt elk or deer that would be great. thanks.

Well, you have lots of time to scout! There are lots of deer around the area, you don't even have to go to far. South of town is a good area, aswell as areas to the north........don't know east of town to well though.

Keep the draws in mind... I think only general whitetail is available without a draw around Lethbridge, and you'll need to go west to WMUs 400 and 402 to hunt elk without a draw. The draws take place in June. Mulie and whitetail does are draws, but we've been drawn every year for a few now. Mulie bucks will take quite a few years (5+) before you'll get drawn.
