I said earlier on another thread that Zeiss scopes were over priced and the busiest reticle out there, and as luck would have it they're on sale at Cabelas. Conquest Rapid Z 800 3.5-10x44 $750...... But wait, there's more. It comes with a puma elk hunter knife ($130 value) and a $50 mail in rebate.

With a deal like that even I might try one out, I'd probably have to get a few good crow recipes to go with it though.

This thread was for him, and a couple other guys, just to show my ears are just as big as my mouth.

If anyone was looking for one, now would be a good time to grab it. Puma makes a heck of a good knife.

I used both on a late season cow elk tag christmas eve great knives great scopes. Why not promote a scope you use and belive in? They are fast and very reliable.

For the record, I have no affiliation with any outdoor product, product outlet, or outdoor production. I have a totally open mind when it comes to outdoor gear, and when I see something others on the board might want to look into I'll post it. Whether it be a $510 Minox, or $750 Zeiss. At $510 with a $50 rebate the Minox is a good deal, and at $750 with a $50 rebate plus a $130 knife the Zeiss is a good deal. Now if only Leupold had some kind of a deal going on their VX-R with CDS, the choices would be tough!

well I know you can get close to them but I've heard your more of a observer then a shooter so I'll take my chances with the 600 rapid z for now. See You up there Mike

If you really want a good deal on a Zeiss or Swarovski scopes, check out Plain Sight Solutions on Canadiangunutz for his demos. As well Prophet River usually prices their Zeiss scopes well below Wholesale Sports. If you are patient, I have purchased new 4.5-14x50 Conquests for $750 shipped on the Gunnutz exchange, and I also found a new Conquest 6.5-20x50 for $800 shipped.
