Morning Wake Up Call....

So we are staying in Edmonton for my son's hockey tournement, and were woken from a sound sleep just before 7 by sirens. Lots of sirens. Go back to sleep for a bit, get up, go out for breakfast, and there are 6 police cruisers and a global TV truck at the hotel next door. And lots of crime scene tape....nice. This is all the news gave us so far. I didn't hear the gunshot(s)....

I already wasn't impressed with the Westwood Inn, this actually didn't even seem surprising, just in keeping with the rest of our stay. Nice wake up call though. We were early at the arena.

I didn't see a single gnome on the scene.......and nobody was pounding on my door. Although it is too loud in this hotel. I doubt if it was the work of a crazy serial killer too.....

A few too many penalties though. They need to get that under control before the medal rounds.
