Pretty slow on the north east end today with 8" of ice. Just below the boat launch at the park had open water. 4" of ice between the shore and the pillars at the park. 8" north of the pillars yesterday.

in your guys opinion with this mild weather were having are the south lakes or reservoirs like travers, megregor, crawling valleye, newell safe to go out on. I'm pretty new to ice fishing so could use the advice thanks.

no way I would drive on the ice this year, but Ive been walking out with no problems. if you dont know the area drill lots of test holes on the way out
