Gull Lake Advice?

Hello i am heading out to gull on monday and am wondering if anyone can give me a hand with catching some whites or some burbs! i have been to gull multiple time and never seem to have much luck? any advice is appreciated!

Whitefish use regular worm hook 2 white maggots! They will be all over ya!

Havent seen any whitefish at either spot we tried on Gull. Was fishing with my kids though, so we targeted pike and burbs with smelt. Fished in 6 to 8 feet of water and caught 2 burbs and 2 pike. HUGE thrill for the boys.Good luck!
