Mr Christies turn to guide a pike day at one of his locations. Met a new member today and saw an old face from a few years back. A few keepers were had and was another fun day on the ice. And by the way todays catch tasted real good for supper.......

Good times boys...

It was a good day...but it never ceased to amaze me how fast the wind can change. The 2 keepers I got are about to be sliced and diced in prep for dinner tomorrow. The bigger one was 2 ounces short of 7 lbs and the smaller was 5.5 lbs. Both had some decent battle scars.

Ken...you guys left before the excitement: while taking down the tent, the GF stepped into the hole and sunk up to her thigh. Of course it hurt and now she has a nice bruise....and she still enjoys ice fishing!

Good to see you guys again! And it was nice to meet Dago.

Lets do it again very soon...

Dean PM me your email and i will send those 2 pics I took too. The water was great, it was like fishing in an aquarium. I was fishing about 8 feet of water, and did a few video clips. About a second after I stopped this clip a pike slammed my jig, missed it by "this much" :angry3:

Yes you missed a good day for the most part. The afternoon hurricane came up and drove us all inside but the first half of the day was nice and calm. It always helps with a few fish are caught as well. Wife was waiting for me to come in the door last night with dinner halfed cooked except for the fish of course. Had to do a quick filet/debone of the pike as soon as I got in the door and was instanly cooked and was delicious for dinner. I am sure Dean will enjoy his as well.
