west of caroline, biggest rainbow ive cought so far. 24" I dunno weight didnt have a scale.... any ideas on the best way to cook her up

Cook it on the fire in tin foil with butter and lemon with herbs and spices! Delish!

beauty trout looks tasty!! i like to cook trout in a tinfoil package in the oven with garlic butter a little white wine and a few herbs! delish!

heres a couple more, and yes it was at phyllis. I wonder how many this size are in there.... was a pleasant surprise anyways

We do in muir but it's closed for the winter of course. It sure would be nice to see more of the potholes here with some size to them.

Yeah I guess there is Muir.
If you put the time in some of the potholes have OK sized fish but you have to weed through so many 8 inch stockers to get anything worthwhile. And with the winterkill we saw last year, even harder to catch something nice around edmonton.

Very true, would be nice to see a few of these lakes not kill and see what happens in the next few years. I think too many summer shorefishers will keep any 5 fish so we may not get to see these fish grow too big but sure would be nice

East pit used to have or still might have some decent sized trout in it. 7 years back, I caught a 3lber in the fall. I went back in the winter and saw what looked to be 4+lb trout that would also come up to my lure and turn around at the last minute.

we are going there n am what did you use for bait?? or tips? i have never caught anything that big new to the whole ice fishing things dnt want to know yur exact spots just mabye some ideas ? how to catch one? :test::shark: been to pcr and chain alot of fun been to spray got skunked watched guys tent blow dwn the lake ....:scared0018: so any info would be awsome thnx jamie:sign0068:
