South side of wab?

How does a guy get to the south side of wabamum lake. I've been over there in the summer in my boat but never in winter. Is there a road over there or do you have to hike all the way across the ice.:huh:

Some brief directions ....Take the provincal park exit from hwy 16.Then take the first road to the left and cross the native reserve.Turn right at the landfill and head west.You should start to see the lake.Some plowed out parking spots at the tracks.No truck acess befor the plant.Further down past the plant in the cottages you can drive on.Hope this helps...
