Can I use any external speakers for the foxpro Spitfire? It works just great, but I find in windy days the sound just doen't get out there. Can I just buy a horn speaker and rig it up or should I buy one off Foxpro. What watt of speaker should a guy use? Thanks

Not sure if one would want to, if its not loud enough...its too windy, too much volume can be a bad thing, heck I rarely have mine over 50%, as you are mimicking a small animal with small lung capacity...

I have the add on speaker sold by foxpro. I like it for the windy days, but also it allows me to "point" the sound in more than one direction. Its kinda heavy/bulky, but worth having for sure.

Yah it is louder. Shipping is what gets you when ordering from foxpro since they use ups. I use it mostly on windy days. If you want a cheap way of making your spitfire louder put it on a tripod. Get it up and stops the spin from being muffled

I totally agree with you, and it is less stuff to pack around when you're headed to a stand.

looks good, what ever it takes. I just find the spifire is not loud enough. The coyotes will not come in to what they can't hear. I'm just covering all my bases. Plus it has a remote that turns the volume to what ever you need it at.
