We went new years day and froze,fishing very very slow.Ice was proabaly around 15" and not much snow.

Went up dec 27th to Blackett. Fishing was ok, plenty of ice very little snow.

We tried jackson and kinaird.We talked to some others there and blackett was just as slow.

Fished it on dec 30 pike hitting but was slow 20" ice. Going on my next days off

Heading there Friday. I hear the blackett truck trail is open.

Was in the area this past weekend. Fishing was very slow. Lots of guys out. A few tiny Pike and a couple of tiny Walleye.

Other lakes fishing much better close by that are alot easier to get into. Got some nice Perch on Lac La Biche and Beaver was fishing good for Pike and Walleye.
