Haven't been out to Ghost this year cause I am a little concerrned about the ice. From the camp ground walk out and go west, by the cliff's it's anywhere from 26 to 90 FOW The shallow will usually hold white fish and the deep lakers.

I really like the far west end but with the ice being what it is that is one long walk. down there you can get bow's and browns in 20- 30 FOW

Good Luck

Which "Ghost lake" are you talking about? I was on the one up near Athabasca after Christmas for about an hour or so and got one pike in about 14 feet of water off a beaver dam on the north side of the lake.

If you look at the OP's "location" it is Calgary, chances are hes talking about ghost reservoir near cochrane and not about one up by Athabasca. Common sense goes a long way!

2 cars on the Ice Saturday, we walked out. I think as long as you stay clear of the pressure ridge by the boat launch your good to go, ice is still 13"
