Entire east end of travers is wide open again, fishable with a boat. Not sure if that helps with Keho conditions or not.

The west end of Keho has a solid 8" of ice. Pretty much all the ice along the north side is broken into small pieces with open sections. From what I could see there are open sections in the middle of the lake. If it was easy to post pics I would post the ones I took of the ice on Friday.

That makes me want to get my fly wheel even faster. I would love to drop a boat into Travers this week if possible.

Fished the North part of Keho yesterday. There were individual pockets of 1" ice with most being around 4" in our area.
On the West and South of Keho, large pieces of ice were floating against the underside of the ice which would trip tip ups and a hockey stick was needed to push these slabs out of the way.
Definitely watch your step on Keho;lots of dangerous ice and lots of open water. Bring ice picks and wear a floating suit if you've got one.

Tons of tip ups went off today and it was actual fish not the wind. Did manage to get one out of the hole about 7 pounds.. Lost lots. The guy up the way from us had a 15 - 20 pounder snap him off

I am absolutely convinced that the Pike in Keho know how to steal bait!!! My success ratio at Keho with Tipups is only about 1 in 4. Anywhere else, I'm about 50/50. At least there's lots of action and the chance to get a Gooder.

I went one for three today. The other guy went about 0-7 and the guy down the way went about 0-6. I think I've got them figured out but the last two didn't even really take the hook. It's all about the way you put it on the line.
they are used to the treble through the smelt in the middle. This I know
