Im going there 1st thing too, hope the ice is good,

someone posted that had open spots and was puddley and rotten,,, whether or not this was truth I am not sure. If I went, I'd go to the southwest area as the winds have been so westerly as of late I figure that would be the least rotten ice, or by the islands,, 67 true chinooks since October 1st, compared to 7 for the same period last year. I was there Tuesday, open water, couldnt get near thge islands as ice was pretty rotten, may be better now??? How much I dont know
