Been a while since I've been out chasing "humpies". Took the family out just before the cold snap for some nice action.

And the tasty reward in the end

What's the average size there? 10-13"?

That is a good mess of fish.

I would love to get into those types of numbers of good sized perch. It has been way to long since that has happened for me. I wouldn't keep nearly that many but that is because I don't eat fish and usually just do a fish fry or 2 a year for friends and family that enjoy it.

As long as it is within the regs limits then I see nothing wrong with it.

Did you take the V of bones out of those fillets? It doesn't look like it? It will make them even more tasty. Next, use the pieces of V as bait, if you don't have enough eyes already. Congrats all the same.

I counted 57 perch. So all he would need is 4 people to be well within the regs.

Normally I do, but we were very pressed for time that day. Had another good catch of the little footballs. Pics to follow shortly

Had another great outing chasing "jumbos". Biggest ones were 14 1/2" again.
Probably be the last visit to this lake for the year. Hoping to focus chasing "eyes" on Slave now.
Here is the latest batch of "footballs"

We also caught a lot of small pike but ended up with one nice one

No that lake is pressured also looks like the same everyone is hitting... last sat there was over 80 vehicles and everyone was catching like that so probably next year it to will be toast!!

Really?? the limit there must be what 10 per person then obviously eh?? or even 15. I know not many lakes are 15 now adays sadly.. Id kidnap someone for a spot like that lol..
