Hi guys, my neighbor has this quad for sale for $2500. It's a 1992 350 4x4 that has always been kept inside. Winch works, and so does everything except the speedo. Compared to what I have seen other quads selling for, I think this is a good deal. Never owned or driven one before.
What do you think a ball park value is?

I think its a fair price. I sold the same machine but a year older for $2000.00 and it was in rough shape needed rings, brakes and a bunch of other work. Things to look out for are the computer and the electronic fuel pump. Both went on mine lucky to find a used computer for about $250.00 hard to find new ones and very expensive.

Looks to be in very nice shape for the age of the machine. Those older 350's have a faithful following. You should have no problem selling it.

What do you mean by computer-are you talking electronic ignition box?

Its a fair price, but I would personally rather spend $4000-4500 and keep your eyes out for a newer machine. Though overall, fair price for the bike.....

I probably wouldnt pay over $2000 but like I said, I'd also probably rather put a touch more into a slightly newer machine....

Good quads. I'd try to get it for $2000 but i think that's a fair price if he won't go lower. I bought a pair of those this spring, one's in decent shape but is missing the plastic and the other has all the plastic and can drive around but the handlebars are broke and the front ends toast, i still paid about $1000 for the pair. Really good units, i used them at work for the past three summers and i wouldn't want a bigger unit (personal preference). I got my brother fixing them in his free time and they seem pretty easy to work on so far as well. (think i have a 1993 and a 1997 or something like that). I'd buy one in that good of shape in a minute if i was looking, great units.

Fair price, looks pretty good. seeing as you never had a quad before, would be a good one for you to learn on. Is the 4x4 full time?

I don't think you could get a Honda with part time until a year or two ago. There is a conversion kit for them from some of the after market guys.
