I am looking to switch oils in my auger so I have less smoke when I drill inside my trailer.
So what would you suggest for "less smell/smoke" oil for my old eskimo with the techumseh on it.

Several threds about this topic on the board. Use Opti 2 in all my 2 stroke engines winter and summer. hard to find but if you go somewhere that seels good quality lawn and garden equipment you can usually find it there. Been using it for years and so has my FIL in all our engines and works great. Google it and you will find lots of info on it.

Amsoil works 100 times better than my old stuff. Never tried Opti 2 but the masses have spoken , sounds popular. Where can you get it ?

I also have an older Eskimo with the Tecumseh and I usually run the Jiffy premeasured synthetic blend and it has worked great for my auger. Do these other oils mentioned perform that much more?, and my auger could run even better?

I used to put Wynns oil in my sled years back. Funny cause it had a smell of flowers or strawbarry. Could always tell which trail I took.

the major benefit to opti 2 in my opinion is it has fuel stabilizer in it. You no longer need to worry at the end of season making that last tank of fuel stabilized for storage purposes. I ran it in everything last year and had no startup issues at all this year. even pulled the carb on the chainsaw as it sat the longest, no fuel gummed up at all in any part of the fuel system.
