Emerson Lake, High River

Hi All,

Just moved into town (High River,AB) and saw 2 fellas fishing on Emerson Lake at the SW corner. What type of species are caught in this lake? I'm assuming trout and/or perch?

the town stocks this lake with trout. i believe it gets about 2500 rbt a year. nothing big but can be a lot of fun for the kids.
