Anyone ever find the perch in here? I stopped there this summer and caught a bunch of Walleye. What a pretty lake! Just wish I new if I could catch some perch in there. Wish I new of that lake years ago, I would have bought a lot there.

From what I understand from the locals the perch fishing at Amisk started going downhill as the walleye became more predominant. However, if you do plan on giving it a try, be cautious. Although I've never actually tried ice fishing there, I've heard stories of some nasty springs in it (which may or may not be true).

I always stay away from shore lines and always, only go where others have gone before, not boldly.

Used to have some nice perch. Walleye have since taken over.
