Anyone know where I can find a general hatch chart on the dry flies and nymphs throughout the season for central Alberta?

Not sure if this would help you or not. It's for the Crowsnest. http://www.crowsnestangler.com/mainpanel.php?option_sidebar=angling&option_angling=angling4

Every guiding outfit will have one on their website, or atleast they should.

Charts are a great way to start but there is nothing like taking the time to learn a little entomology and order of abundance.

The best way to find out what is hatching would be to check under a rock where you are fishing or look at what is on or near the water. The hatch charts online are a great start and you can always bring a few "go to" flies if you are not sure.

I have 'The Hatch 2' on my iPhone. It only has US rivers, but I use the Montana rivers as a fairly close reference.

this is one from Rocky Mountain Anglers http://www.armanglers.com/charts.php
and one from Bow River Flyfishing http://www.bowriverfishing.com/hatch_charts.htm
Also some here too http://www.ncfishandgame.com/trout_fishing/western-fly-hatch-charts.php

:)Phil Rowley is the man. He has it dialed in when it comes to what and when. If you punch in his name and look around a little you will find his diet charts spring, summer, and fall. Scuds and chronimids make up about fiifty percent at any given time during the open water season. Anyhow im sure this is what your looking for.

Bob Edens has a really extensive chart for the Red Deer River on his Stream Weavers site.
