I'm heading up for the weekend soon. Any good outdoor shops worth checking out?

No, for some strange reason they don't have any there, never made sense to me.

Sylvester's in Bonnyville has a fair number of guns on the shelf. They were just stocking a Savage shipment when I was there last saturday.

Too bad for me. I'll have some 'down time', it would have been nice to see a shop! Oh well, we'll find something to do!! Thanks, guys!

There isn't any gun shops in Cold Lake. There is an old gunsmith in Ardmore that has quite a few used guns for sale. Depending on which way you go to Cold Lake, you would pass Ardmore. He has a big sign out front, "Guns for Sale".

Bonnyville is 50 km(1/2 hour) from Cold Lake. there is also a fairly new shop(hunting ang fishing gear) in Bonnyville. It is called Hunters Outfitters? or something like that.It is located right on main street. They don't have a large amount of stock yet be they are getting better as time goes on. Another thing to do around Cold Lake is go to the casino which is about 5 km. out of town . It is called Casino Dene. It is on the reserve but right off of highway 28 south east of town. It has slots, blackjack, roulette, poker, etc. PM me if you need anymore info on Cold Lake.

sylvestres in bonnyville is a good shop, very courteous and helpful, if the young guys dont' know an answer to your question they'll track down the boss and ask him. love the place, hockey, ball and hunting all under one roof!!!!
