Social media ie; message boards are really making alot of folks lazy when it comes to fishing and buggering up lakes. Over the past 5 years Ive watched a few lakes that were productive gone to ****. The latest is old nakumen. I fished it for years and caught tons of 8-10'' trophies(LOL) and kept the odd meal. This lake is now like jasper ave and will be fished out within a couple years.
I see all sorts of guys asking for lakes, specific spots and for christ sakes how to cook them. I suggest more guys fuel up the truck, auger plus jerry can and start punching holes and keep your yap shut.

Remeber the old rule> All fishermen are liars except you and me and somtimes I have my doubts about you

in alberta most of those puddles may as well be fished out because its only a matter of time and it will winter kill. lol

this comment should keep some fishermen typing on there computer so i have time to go get the fish while they are still there

Anybody else sick of guys posting on an online forum about how the online forum is making fisherman lazy and ruining their honey holes. Why bother coming on here if it frustrates you so much. What's the point of a forum if not to meet other fisherman and maybe just maybe share some fishing advice.

It's awsome if more people can get out and enjoy a day of fishing, just remember the thrill is in the catching and not the keeping, cheers.

For me, it is because some people are dumb enough to post their honey holes. Although by the time it gets onto a forum, it usually isn't a honey hole for long.

A big part of the problem is that fisheries are very limited and there is enormous fishing pressure in Alberta.

In many (most?) parts of Canada it is not such an issue.

On the coasts there will always to busy spots, but there are really endless opportunities.

In Ontario I could fish and catch loads without seeing another person, ever.

Good luck in AB.

It's like great financial investments. By the time Joe Blow is telling you about it, it's no longer a good investment, and probably time to sell.

I would hate to see what you guys would do IF you really had a HONEYHOLE worth worrying about >>>>>>>>:snapoutofit:
