cancun fishing

looking for info on guides in the cancun area. headed down on feb 26th and plan on hitting isla blanca and the lagoon behind the hotel zone in cancun. i have found a few outfits that sound good, but was looking for a personal reference. im looking to hit the super slam species (on the fly). im not overly interested in deep sea but if someone has a great review, please share it. thanks in advance!
p.s. correct me if im wrong, but there arent rooster fish on the cancun side right? i hope im wrong!

only have experience with deep sea in Cancun. Cptn Ricks is great; used him 3 times now and always have fun. not in feb/mar tho - dec/jan, mar/apr and august.

X2.....never fished the Lgoon...always thought there was a reason they called it that....if the wind is blowing right......

there is some pretty good fishing in there; all word of mouth tho. might try in there next time - especially if stevo has some success.
