Im looking for recommendations on a fish finder for my fishing boat. dont want to spend too much over $300 I dont think........... My last boat had a Eagle Magna III with temp and speed, worked great, but dated now. Speed was great for trolling

thoughts, suggestions? or anyone selling a decent one :)

Look in ebay or kijiji, people are always upgrading and selling their old ones. Depending what u want on your fishfinder, 300 for new won't get you much.

just search for lowrance, hummingbird eagle etc.

Depends on what you want...If you want temp, speed, charts, screen size, color. Many variables to consider.

Well it aldepends what you want to do and target....

I went with the hummingbird 385ci ... It is a portable unit with built in gps and well as you can ad maps to it...
It comes set up for ice fishing ... But I did get a soft water transducer and it does water temp and speed ... So all in it does it all in one package .. But it is a little more that 300
But you do get what you pay for

it would appear you picked a good price range, there are at leasts half dozen good sounders within a 50$ spread
GARMIN: 300c. 250$
400c dual beam. 350$
HUMMINBIRD:365combo 50 channel gps 300$
728hd 300$.opinional gps
586c. dual beam 350$.
so that should put you on the right track all prices are in US dollars sorry if the difference is too much.all the bases are for the most part covered in this selection. hope this helps.im sure the other makers will have similar models in that price range.
