Cold Lake snow conditions?

Im thinking about hitting cold lake this weekend and was hoping i could get some reliable input from some locals. I plan to drive my 2 wheel drive car out there since i heard there was only acouple inches of snow.. How much snow is there and is the surface pretty solid? Do you think a small car would be able to move around the lake slowly without getting stuck? appreciate any input,

If you stay on the beaten trails you will be fine. There isn't much snow but I diid see a couple cars get stuck last weekend just because the snow was about 4-6 inces deep where it drifted a little and packed down.

Take a tow cable or rope with hooks and just keep them in the trunk...just in case. You can get a pull from most guys with a truck, including me, if you need one. But it won't be without some sarcastic fun first :sHa_sarcasticlol:

Your going to find out getting off the lake will be tricky.
