Has anyone seen extensions for the Eskimo Augers? I found them online but haven't seen one in Central Alberta yet..... Wonder if the Jiffy one is the same?

I have a jiffy extension. For comparision it has a 7/8" bore and shaft with 3/8" diameter bolts.

I was at Backcountry the other day looking for Jiffy blades and noticed an extension. They seem to sell only Eskimo products so it may serve your purpose. Phone them first. BEL

If you have access to sucker rod that is used in oil wells (7/8" or 1"), you can cut off the 2 ends and weld them together at any lenghth you like. Then drill a 3/8" hole through the ends for you bolt to go through.Usually build the 12-16" long. Cheap and works great on Jiffy's, not sure about the others, don't have one.
