Pretty proud of this one...! Don't catch perch too often anymore. Have lots more pics, with measurements, but holding back for guesstimates since everyone loves that game so much!!!

That is a beauty perch.

I'm not a perch expert but I'm going to guesstimate 13.5"......1.75 lbs.

I'd be interested in knowing what was in that big belly of his as well.

When are you going to post the rest of the measurements?

I had to check...........The Alberta Record Perch was 2lbs 15.5 oz.

Looks like the ones at Long. Im assuming she is full of eggs, I always thought that they started to spawn closer to the end of March, guess I was wrong. Its time to go perchin.:scared0018:

feel free to disclose if you like. This lake has been hit hard lately and it is very evident in its decline. I have no problem telling a few good guys where (even have gps coords), but not going to be broadcasting it all over the interwebs, doesn't need any more pressure...

It was caught on a jighead with a smelt, and a stinger hook, was hooked by the stinger. All the fish that day were biting light, and couldn't get a hook in, until I added the small trebel stinger
