Headed out this morning and hit the lake about 0930. Lots of people. Counted 25 trucks in one spot. Caught our limit by 1100 and went exploring. Caught a pile of pike, a few more walleye and no perch. The afternoon was tea shirt weather. it was well worth the 6 hour we spent on the road.

Great to here! Going there tomorow. I've been planning this trip for a year. I've never been on that lake before and I've never cought a walleye through the ice. Now I'm so excited I won't be able to sleep. Sorry to ask but if you don't mind where we're you on the lake?

No matter how it's spelled. The fishing wasn't too bad. There were about 30 trucks on the south east side. I was about 600 feet from shore and only 12 FOW. I can't believe how skinny the pike were. And all the walleye we brought home were males. The pike and walleyes were hitting the hooks really hard. Didn't even need bait. Just used a silver and gold spoon with a jig tail hanging under it
