Options for Perch close to Calgary

Had a great first ice fishing outing yesterday. What a beauty day! Now want to put that new auger to use and would like to try for Perch. Any lake suggestions would be much appreciated.

Try going to Burnstick Lake. I have never been there but I've heard lots. Try Worms or Maggots there.

If you have a friend that lives in Sundance, then go to Sundance lake. You can't go by yourself, but if your friend or relative lives there then they can take you, cause they have memberships. TONS of perch there! Maggots work best.

Thanks FM. I did a search on this forum and Burnstick came up. It look like it would be a 2 hour drive - maybe this weekend.

Spent 3 hrs at Burntstick on Sat. Caught about 15 perch, four of which were keepers. A lot of fun and a beautiful location, would recommend it to anyone.
