Lowrance Gen2 HDS question

I have a HDS7 Gen1 and i am looking at buying a HDS10 Gen2. I would like to hook them up together but im not sure if the 2 generations would work together. Any info would be appreciated, Thanks.

Yep sure can. Both systems are totally compatible. One is just faster with a few little extras.
