Lesser Slave Lake

Has anyone been up to the flats out from Joussard in the past week or so? I am wondering if you can get out there with 4x4 pickup, or is a quad/sled required?
(If you want to tell me how the fishing is, that would be great as well!)

i have been to joussard a few times this year....a good 24-28 inchs of ice....
lots of shacks out on the ice...there is a very large heave just as it drops off to deeper water...it runs as far as the eye can see...east & west...
i assume it was the locals have built a bridge across the heave....

as for the fishing...it was not to bad a couple of weeks ago...i was there on the 4 & 5 of feb & the fishing was awful....
