Great job. I need to get out but don't have time to get more than 1 or 2 more trips in. It looks like you guys were just off the ice heave a bit and wonder if that helps to bring the fish on by you?
Where abouts on the lake were you guys? I had a buddy just off of pickeral point and did well the other day as well on burbs.
Did you catch whites with a spoon as well?

Nice!!! What a great outing. You have to be jazzed about catching your first whites the other day and Sylvan and then to a limit out at Gull. I think that is great! Those whites do fight hard and those are some real beauties.

Thanks for the great post and pics.

thanx for the comments. I was catching the whites on a green wire worm and on little vertical jigging spoons that I was using for burbot. I actually caught more on the spoons than on the wireworm though. Those crafty things like to turn right at the hole so you have to be careful bringing them up (this got a little difficult when my hole got murky from all that burbot slime) lol I could hardly see down my hole after a while.

For the burbot Mepps Cyclops 2-3" blue /silver spoon tipped with small shiner or 1/2 smelt.Let it hit bottom and sharply raise it in short jerks a foot or so............Harold
