Looking for some info on a fair price for a used truck that the boss is trying to get rid of.

2007 Chevy 2500 Duramax New price was $62000 loaded except no DVD for the rear seat.
90000 km
Body is in good shape but has been in 2 separate accidents, deer ran into drivers side box and front paasenger door dented. Both have been fixed.
New rubber within last 5000 km
The interior has some minor wear.

Any info or thoughts on a fair price would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.

Sounds like a $30-35k truck to me depending how bad you want it. You can pick one with 1/2 as many miles on it for that much out of the states.

Are you looking to buy it, or are you just helping him sell it?

i'd say $35-37 no more considering the mileage for 1 year and 2 accidents

I did some checking on the CAA Black Book, and without having all the information(I assumed a 4X4, ext. cab, LS series trim), I got between 30 and 33K. If you want PM me and provide me with all the details, I can give you a more accurate assessment.

A little note about the "black book" prices. Average, Clean & Extra Clean etc are references to the mileage not the overall condition. It assumes 25,000 km per year. Your truck is 40,000 above the average over and therefore would be considered below average on the scale.

That is true. It does have a section to account for the mileage and then discounts it accordingly. It is only a guide anyway and should be looked at that way.
