We are a dark green silverado 2500 with matching topper. If you want or would like a map to the area several of us fish shoot me a pm. It may save a bit of time to get on the lake if you are going to the southern end.

I'll see you guys out there. Will be nice to be able to drive around out there without keeping a nervous eye on the ice. You heading out Sunday Gringo?

this is my first year fishing jackfish, so I have been going there alot. Im torn about going back again, or trying the bay north of the park(is that reddelback or something like that?) to have a fall back spot for the derby incase jackfish isnt producing. I havent fished north of the park before. Maybe I'll do both if I am feeling ambitious.

yup thats Reddelback. whatever you do dont drive across the ice to get there from Jackfish, go back to 873 and go by road the ice on the outside of the islands isnt safe . I may be out and about Sunday, not sure where on Newell yet though

WayneChristie

No. way to many lakes with fish in them to hit Badger anymore, for me anyways. They are talking about Jackfish Bay on Newell not the northern one :bad_boys_20:
