Any snow on the lakes, or just bare ice??

Hey guys. Haven't been ice fishing for awhile. Just wondering if there is a layer of snow for the skidoo and dog? Or is it just bare ice?? I'm am mostly around lakes just a little north of Edmonton.

The dog will be fine but not enough to keep the sled cooled from what I've seen

Are you riding a sled with sliders or old style bogey wheels? If its the latter you will be fine, if you have sliders... theres BARELY enough. Took mine out on Coal for a ride, if you stick close to shore theres a couple inches of powder on top of the ice, a little hard on the machine but enough to go for a short ride.
