Shore Lunch

So if you are out fishing and the limit or say perch is 15 and you have a shore lunch of say 5 fish is it still legal to take 15 perch home as you only posses 15 fish or is it a day limit of only 15 fish total ?

"The number of fish you are allowed to keep while fishing in one day is equal to the limit listed for each species or group of species at the lake or stream being fished, including any fish eaten or given away that day."

You would be taking 10 home if the lake's limit is 15, and you have consumed 5.

Nope you would be over your limit , depending on where you are 15 is the DAILY LIMIT , so you got eat 14 or 5 you can still only keep 15 that day .
