some of my best memories of fishing are from white lake. my aunt and uncle owned the white lake resort years ago and my wife and kids used to go there every summer or more. that lake has monsters. in the summer a lead weight on the bottom with a mini marshmello and single hook and worm 16" away worked best still fishing. my uncle said in the winter just a hook and worm in 20 to 30 feet of water worked best. buy the big dew worms here in alta. as it was hard to find them down there.
