See if you can get the engine make and model then contact someone like Action engines or similar. You may be surprised to find what other things that same engine is used . Have used them before and they surprised me at what they have.

Try Cabelas, I found that they carry carb rebuild kits for Eskimo.

Eskimo uses an in house engine called "Viper" these days. I needed a new carb kit for mine about 3 years ago and had to order it out of the states. It took long enough to get here that I ended up buying a Jiffy and sold the Eskimo when I finaly got the part. Glad you got your recoil pronto cause getting parts for mine was a real gong show. Might be better now, and Jiffy switched motors too so I doubt that their any better now.

Jiffy didnt switch motors by choice but Tecumseh went bust so had no choice.Any mfg that was using Tecumseh engines is the same.

I was going to say that but my post was already quite long and pointless. Funny that I bought the Jiffy because of parts availibility and now a few years later its quite possible that I will someday have the same problems finding tecumseh parts, shouldnt happen for a few years though.

After calling Eskimo in the USA. I was given the number to there Canadian outlet. They could have had one in my hand in 4 days. Was even provide with a list of numbers for local dealers. There is even one right here in Airdrie. Just a small engine repair shop but can do warranty work and order parts for Eskimo. Picked up the one from a forum member tonight and its made of metal not plastic like the last one

I only know about it because I have a jiffy about 10yrs old and was looking for parts. They were a pretty popular small engine company from what I am told so there should be parts around if you look hard enough.
