Going to head to Sherbourne for perch/pike/walleye in the morning, any recent reports on how thick the ice is? Has anyone caught any whitefish there lately?

I was there last week and it took the intire auger to break through the ice. 30+ inches. I seen some whitefish on the camera but I was in 40 feet of water. Lots of perch walleye and even a couple pike.

I fished 3 reservoirs last week. St. Mary's, Keho, and Ridge Reservoir. There was over 2 ft of ice on each of them. It's going to take a bunch of warm and wind to break that ice down...

Fished Sherbourne today and nearly blew away with the wind. My friend and I only managed 6 perch between the two of us, all caught in about 20 feet of water in a 15 minute blitz. We only fished for about 3 hours, and did not manage any other bites in various depths of water using various lures. Ice was 30" solid, easy to drive around on but a pain to bore through. I'm going back to trout lakes....

Too bad about the weather! But glad to hear there's lots of ice. I wanted to go out this afternoon, but the wind held me back! Maybe tomorrow aft!
