ice at cow

hows the ice at cow lake ?can you get on the ice or is it best to walk out?leaving saturday morn at 5:30 to get some nice perch i hope. can you get on at the campground or is there a different way on to the lake? thanks and see you out there.

Ice should be good. 30+ inches for sure. The turnoff is before the cow lake store about a mile or so I think. I missed it last time and stopped at the store for directions. It is not very well marked coming from rocky. The gates are probably locked at the campground. good luck

Ice is approx. 33 inches. No problems driving on mud. Access the lake via the day use area, which is just east of the cow lake store like what mulecrazy said.

well 7:30 just walked through the door had it all today rain 6:30-7:00 snow7:00-8:30 and windy all day. fishing was so-so landed lots of small perch but only 2 over 10 inch.

Sorry to hear, was a different story at jackfish lake we found a walleye honey hole.
