Looking to see if Bruce Lake east of Airdrie has some hammer handles in it. Its just a short drive frome my home and never really hear much about it. From what I understand you will not breal any records there but it does hold some Pike. Is this accurate? Whats the best place to get on? Any locations on the lake worth trying? Might just head out there tomorrow if I can get a confermation.

Haven't been ther for 2-3 years, we used to get on at the North end kinda down the ditch and then on and across to the first burm then to the right a couple of hundred yards and fish in 6' to 12' with smelt or spoon and smelt. Very dark/dirty water with lots of shrimp. 4x4 would be good.
PM me if you need more as you are from Airdrie.

I live maybe 20 minutes from there and lately it seems the lovers of chop suey are attempting to fish it dry.

Better off going to Eagle me thinks.
