I got my new rod today a Pieroway 6wt 9ft 4pc!
I tested it out today by casting in the blizzard and so far so good!
Its super light and cant wait to test it out on the water when in warms up!
I pared it up with a 5/6wt large Arbor Dragonfly Chilcotin and Airflo floating line WF.
Here is some pictures:

Nice rod! And I totally get why you flycast in the blizzard (I did it last year with my old rod), I was spey casting a few days ago in the cold haha! Too bad I couldn't get any good casts because I don't have an open water anchor..

That is a beauty, Pieroway makes nice rods, I especially love the fighting butt.

Awesome Dude. You'll love that rod. I got to cast it for a while at the Calgary Sportsman Show.
Last year I bought the Pieroway Metal Detector 510 for Steelheadin. You can't beat that quality for the cost.

Yep, good call. I'm glad you decided to get it. You will not be sorry at all. Make sure you post back on what you think mid-season, however, I'm pretty sure I know the answer :)

Cheers!

So far the rod casts well with a peice of marabu and can cast a respectable distance seeing my backing so about 70-80ft. and has a nice feel to it but i like how the rod ends are coated unlike the TFO pro series which rubs a little graphite off each time (i used wax to help prevent this) and balances well with the reel although im having trouble locating another spool for it so im looking into reels for April to test it out on some bulls/browns.
Hopefully I get the Ultralite Reel for my birthday :)
Ill post the movie on here when its done!
