Heading out fishing this weekend, anybody know of any sweet spots around cow town?

Most people in Cowgry drive 1-2hrs to get into good fishing.

There are several lakes in town which are listed in a recent thread on this subject.

Chain, pcr, cvr, Travers, badger, to name a few

If you can get acess there also bonavista,sundance and a couple others that are good fishing but most in Calgary are private

I think I'll give travers a whirl. Brother had some good luck with the ling cod last year
