HDS GEN 1 v4.1

Some how I missed last month's software update on my HDS8. But all gen 1 HDS units have v4.1 available. Just wanted to put it out there in case others missed it.

I read somewhere that there is a 4.3 update out there already. Not to sure if this is true. I haven't checked it out for awhile but I guess I had better get it updated soon.

4.1 is the latest release. I'm sure the 4.3,4.5,5.0 will be quick to follow.

Thanks guys....never done the update before does it mess up your waypoints?

Also how do you guys download and save waypoints?

Waypoints will stay intact, as will all screen shots and sonar logs. However your personalized screen vonfugerations will all have to be reprogrammed. If you are not Dunn v4.0 yet, them combined4.1 will make it seem like you have a new machine.

Havnt done any updates in almost two years....yikes I guess I should be excited about my new machine!!!
